About Me...

Hi, I am Abby Brekken.

I was born and raised in a small town in Minnesota. I moved one town over but to North Dakota for college. I met my boyfriend in college and his career brought us to Hawaii for the time being which is where we are currently living. We have a dog named Kota who is 5 years old.

I first got interested in photography while still in high school. For a few years I was a second shooter at weddings for my cousin who taught me all about taking photos.

After graduating high school I pursued my passion for photography and started doing more than just being a second shooter. I taught myself how to edit.

I started doing a little bit of everything to get my feet wet. Senior photos, engagement sessions, maternity photos, newborns and even started being the main photographer at weddings.

I have since then narrowed down to what I really like and feel most comfortable photographing which is families, couples, weddings, and seniors. Since moving to Hawaii my main booking clientele has been families and couples.

I am constantly growing and learning as a photographer.
